Johnston Dems Endorse Clay Pell

PROVIDENCE, RI - Rhode Island gubernatorial candidate Clay Pell received
the unanimous endorsement of the Johnston Democratic Town Committee last
night. The committee, chaired by Richard Delfino, held their monthly
meeting at the Pocassett Bay retirement facility.

"Clay Pell is the right candidate at the right time to move Rhode Island's
economy forward. Members of the Johnston Democratic Town Committee were
impressed by his experience at the White House and the fresh perspective he
can bring to solving our challenges. As governor, he will be an honest
broker and tireless advocate for the State of Rhode Island," said Chairman
Richard Delfino."I very much appreciate the support of the Johnston Democratic Town
Committee and Chairman Delfino along with the support of Mayor Polisena.
Working together, I'm confident Rhode Island has a brighter future," said
Clay Pell.
