Governor’s Bay Day is open to the public and will feature a host of free activities at these state beach locations. The full activity schedule for the 2015 Governor’s Bay Day is below:

Colt State Park:

 Bring Your Own Bike to ride along the newly resurfaced East Bay Bike Path

 Fish from the pier with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.

 Picnic in the Park – Bring your favorite summer snack!

 Watch a boating safety demonstration by Chuck Horbert from the RI Blueways Alliance, the first to paddle the length of the Rhode Island!

 See kites soar with a demonstration by Kitt Kites!

 Learn about water conservation with Clean Water Access

 Climb the rock wall with the Rhode Island National Guard

 Get moving with the YMCA of the East Bay’s Y on the Move Truck

 Shop the great local tastes of Rhode Island at a special farmer’s market, brought to you by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s Division of Agriculture
