Governor Raimondo to Deliver State of the State Address on Tuesday, January 16

PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Gina M. Raimondo will deliver her annual State of the State address before a joint session of the Rhode Island General Assembly on Tuesday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m. The Governor’s office submitted a formal letter to House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello and Senate President Dominick Ruggerio earlier today requesting the opportunity to address the chambers.

Two days after the address, Raimondo will submit her proposed FY18 budget. The Governor’s Budget Office will hold an embargoed, on-the-record media briefing on Thursday, January 18 prior to the formal submission of the budget. Details about that media briefing will be advised that week.
