GE provides state-of-the-art technology for Sochi 2014 athletes
Worldwide Olympic Partner GE has provided state-of-the art healthcare technology for recent Olympic Games, and once again is providing equipment for the Polyclinics in the Sochi 2014 Olympic Villages.
Two Polyclinics will be used to treat the athletes of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, one in the Coastal Olympic Village and the other in the mountains. Both centres are equipped with a range of digital imaging equipment, including MRI, CT, X-Ray and ultrasound equipment, allowing the diagnosis of even the smallest strains and sprains to provide athletes and coaching teams with vital information for competition.
Ahead of the Games, GE donated a mobile mammography unit to the Krasnodarsky Region of Russiafor the early detection of breast cancer as its legacy gift to the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
