Father of gubernatorial candidate Allan Fung dies

The father of gubernatorial candidate and Mayor of the City of Cranston Allan Fung passed away on Sunday.

Even the greatest of rides one day come to an end… It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our father, Kwong-Wen Fung, from complications of Parkinson’s. Born in a small fishing village in Communist China, he came to Rhode Island and truly became the embodiment of the American Dream. His life of endless hard work, devotion to his family, and endearing kindness is one we do not mourn, but truly celebrate tonight.
