Congressman Gutierrez In Providence At Immigration Reform Rally

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Federal, state and local leaders are expected to attend a rally Friday for comprehensive immigration reform hosted by Congressman David N. Cicilline, (D-RI) and his guest, Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.), Cicilline’s office said.

The rally will be held at the Church of Saint Michael the Archangel, 239 Oxford St., Providence, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Gutierrez, considered one of the foremost leaders in the fight for immigration reform, is coming to Providence at Cicilline’s invitation.
