Celebrating Dominican Republic Independence
Latino Public Radio (LPR) is celebrating Dominican Republic’s Independence Day with community leaders, advocates and avid listeners to help kickoff the Dominican’s festivities.
LPR will start the week of February 16th and end it July 27th with special cultural programs of Folklore, Arts and Life as well as music and news segments dedicated to the Dominican Republic.
On Saturday, February 21st, we will gather a number of extraordinary Dominican individuals and identify their exemplary leadership in support of the Latino community, and for bringing attention to important issues affecting Dominicans and the community at large. This gala event will take place at Venus de Milo, 75 Grand Army Highway in Swansea, MA and it will start at 6:30pm.
Tickets are $75.00 per person.
