Providence Man Pleads to DUI Charges in Crash That Caused Death of 29-Year-Old Motorist

Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced that on March 28, Brian Torres (age 26), of Providence, pleaded nolo contendere before Providence County Superior Court Magistrate Richard D. Raspallo to charges of driving under the influence, death and personal injury resulting, stemming from a 2018 automobile crash that claimed the life of a 29-year-old man and seriously injured another.
