Angelina Jolie Marries Brad Pitt

Actress Angelina Jolie married longtime boyfriend, actor Brad Pitt Saturday in Correns, France a spokesman for the couple said

They were married in a private ceremony attended by family and friends at their own Chateau Miraval, located in the South of France.  Prior to their non-denominational ceremony, Jolie and Pitt had applied for a marriage license in California the Associated Press reported.

Their children participated in the ceremony: sons Pax and Maddox accompanied Jolie down the aisle, daughters Zahara and Vivienne served as flower girls and twins Knox and Shiloh carried the rings.

«It’s an exciting prospect, even though for us, we’ve gone further than that,» Pitt told AP during a November 2012 interview. «But to concretize it in that way, it actually means more to me than I thought it would. It means a lot to our kids.»

This is Pitt’s second marriage and Jolie’s third.
