PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Governor Gina M. Raimondo visits and tour the Rhode Island Free Clinic («the Clinic»). The Clinic is a nationally-recognized, award-winning free clinic that provides quality healthcare to uninsured adults ages 19-65 who earn less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

The Clinic provides that safety net for Rhode Islanders, helping to expand opportunity for some of our most vulnerable community members, and helps build stronger, healthier communities in Rhode Island.

«Sparking Rhode Island’s comeback and creating good, quality jobs for our citizens is always at the forefront of my mind, and it is equally important that our workforce be healthy and well trained,» said Raimondo. «The Clinic’s work to build healthier communities supports our statewide efforts to improve health outcomes, lower healthcare costs, and create a healthy workforce and thriving economy in Rhode Island
