The Arcade Providence will hold a bone Marrow drive, June 26th
The Arcade Providence will hold a bone marrow donor drive, June 26th, from 2:00-6:00 pm, in memory of the father of one of our residential tenants, who recently passed away from lymphoma.
This will be held outside New Harvest Coffee & Spirits. Be the Match Donor Registry from the RI Blood Center will be here to collect a quick cheek swab – this does not involve a blood draw.
Thousands of people suffer from diseases treatable with marrow or blood stem cell transplants. The National Marrow Donor Program finds donors for patients who don’t have a match in their family.
