Mayors Taveras and Fung to Host Job Fair for Military, Veterans and Their Families at Providence Career & Technical Academy
Ninety companies to participate with more than 500 job openings; Brief opening ceremony featuring Brigadier General Petrarca, Hope High School Junior ROTC and area veterans
PROVIDENCE, RI – Providence Mayor Angel Taveras and Cranston Mayor Allan Fung are co-hosting a job fair for Rhode Island’s military, veterans and their families on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Providence Career & Technical Academy, 41 Fricker Street, Providence. There will be 90 businesses that are actively hiring on hand for the event, which will include a brief opening ceremony and four workshops for attendees. This event will be the fourteenth job fair hosted by the two mayors for area unemployed.
