Will Raimondo Ever Learn?

(Cranston) – Gina Raimondo’s shady insider connections continue.  Her latest campaign filings revealed she has hired Jeff Britt, the ultimate political backroom dealer, to be part of the campaign.  One has to wonder why she would pay for someone who is currently in the middle of contempt proceedings with the Board of Elections for failing to respond to a valid subpoena questioning his actions in a prior campaign.  There is only one answer.  Her desperate campaign, which has spent millions of dollars and not seen one iota of movement in the polls, knows their only hope of winning is by resorting to the same kind of dirty politics of which Rhode Islanders have had enough.     Will Gina Raimondo disassociate herself from Britt and his associates?  Has she promised Jeff Britt to use her influence with the Board of Elections if he assisted on her campaign?  Rhode Islanders want to know why she’d resort to hiring a company owned by someone who himself is in the midst of an election scandal, for her campaign.
