Governor to Host Free College Rally at Johnston Senior High School

PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Gina M. Raimondo will talk with students about the Rhode Island’s Promise free college proposal at a Johnston Senior High School pep rally tomorrow morning. Johnston Mayor Joe Polisena will join the Governor.

Raimondo’s plan guarantees two years of free college for every Rhode Island student at who graduates on time from the Community College of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College and the University of Rhode Island, beginning with high school seniors who graduate this spring.
