Central Falls- On December 11, 2016 at approximately 12:33am the Central Falls Police received a phone call from a victim who stated that subjects had pulled a gun on him and attempted to rob him while he was in the parking lot of the 7/11 convenience store. The two male suspects approached him as he was exiting the store and one of the suspects pulled a gun from his coat and demanded all of his valuables. The victim refused and continued walking to his vehicle. The victim identified as a (22) year old male from Central Falls then entered his vehicle and began to follow the suspects who had fled the area in a black four door sedan while contacting the police department.

Officers then responded to the area and located the suspect vehicle travelling east on Cottage Street at a high rate of speed. Officers then activated their overhead lights and attempted to pull the vehicle over, however the operator began to accelerate at a high rate of speed and went through the stop sign at the corner of Cottage Street and Broad Street. The vehicle then continued to travel south on Broad Street travelling in excess of 35mph in a 25 mph zone. The vehicle then turned onto Chestnut Street and went through another stop sign and continued west on Chestnut Street. The vehicle then came to a stop on Washington Street and at this point officers conducted a felony car stop. The two robbery suspects were then taken into custody without incident and transported to the station for processing. The subjects were identified as Timothy King (19) and James Stuckey (26) both of Central Falls.

Officers then re-traced the route the suspects drove and located a replica airsoft handgun on the sidewalk in front of 144 Cottage Street. This item was seized and later placed into evidence. King was charged with Robbery -1st degree, Conspiracy, Reckless Driving, and Driving without a license 3rd offense. Stuckey was charged with Robbery -1st degree and Conspiracy. King and Stuckey were arraigned Sunday morning at the Police Department in front of a 6th District Court Bail Commissioner and were ordered held at the Adult Correctional Institute. King and Stuckey were re-arraigned this morning in the 6th District Court in Providence and ordered held without bail pending a future court date.
