We all know how special WaterFire Providence is to Rhode Island. It’s a shining example of how the arts can be an economic driver and create jobs. Everywhere I travel, people bring up WaterFire- I tell them, come visit Rhode Island and check it out!
WaterFire draws 1 million visitors to downtown Providence each year. They stay in our hotels, eat at our restaurants and shop at our businesses. Now, WaterFire is building on those strengths by constructing a new Arts Center.
