PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Governor Gina M. Raimondo, joined by female members of her cabinet, today hosted 7th and 8th grade girls who participated in her 2016 Women’s History Month Essay Contest for a roundtable discussion on women and leadership.

«These young women were compassionate and smart,» Raimondo said. «As they continue to pursue leadership roles in their schools and communities, it was important to bring them together to share ideas and learn about government. They are the future of Rhode Island and will play an important role in our state’s comeback.»
