Gordon Fox Disbarred

Providence –According to an order issued by the Supreme Court, Fox consented to disbarment in an affidavit filed with the court’s Disciplinary Board March 16, just two weeks after admitting to accepting bribes and using campaign funds for personal expenses as part of his plea agreement with prosecutors.

On Wedsnesday, Rhode Island College rescinded the honorary degree it had bestowed to Fox in 2010.

Fox is scheduled to be sentenced on June 11.
